We are aware that the City of Houston experienced a major water main break on February 27, 2020.
Harris County M.U.D. #102 is not affected and no boil water notices have been issued for the District, nor is one anticipated.
Recyclables bagged in plastic bags end up in the landfill 90% of the time. Due to safety and productivity, recycling centers do not open up plastic bags to sort their contents. They simply remove the bags and contents and discard them as contamination. If you need to bag your recyclables, use paper bags or cardboard boxes. The District’s water and wastewater operating company, Municipal District Services (MDS), is conducting a comprehensive water line flushing program throughout the neighborhood. MDS will begin at 8:00 A.M. on February 10th and continue throughout the day until 4 P.M. on each of the 5 above dates. The flushing will continue until all of the water lines have been flushed.
